About the Early Intervention Program (EIP):
The Early Intervention Program (EIP) is a state-funded instructional program. Its purpose is to serve those students who are at risk of not reaching or maintaining academic grade level. This goal is accomplished by identifying those students who have not performed well on state assessments and then providing them with additional instructional resources that should enable them to obtain the necessary academic skills to reach grade-level performance in the shortest possible time. EIP services are available to eligible students in grades 3-5 at Oconee County Elementary School. Eligibility is determined by guidelines set by the Georgia State Board of Education with the Office of Education Accountability.
